I knew nothing about the stock market other than I knew part of my paychecks went to a 401k. I started using Robinhood to get in on some stocks at low prices with extra money. I got fairly comfortable and went to bed one night happy with my order for a Nokia call. In the morning it was cancelled. I then hit Reddit to see if there was anything down or some explanation. I am still not a "trader", but that morning kicked off a year of intense learning about the market. I knew I was a primate, but never thought I would be an ape.

Staying up all night signing up for any broker that would have me as GME was burning towards the moon! RH turned off the buy button and I was on a phrenetic mission. Nothing has been the same since. ✋💎🤚

My favorite memories of this saga are from MAY '21. Wes Christian and DLauer came out with their first hour-long special. It's going to be a classic for our generation. 'whoops MOASS my bad' was in May. My resolve hardened into Diamond after we didn't moon that cycle. For me, this gave me the impetus to buy into the 'no cell, no sell' mentality. Good fortune be damned, if we allow these crooks to run wild, they'll continue to fuck up the world. Excuse my french. See Stevie Cohen as example numero uno.

Walking out of work when the buy button was taken away in January and walking out of work when amc went to $70. Boss was fine with it both times.

The run up in late may. Was a real felling of validation in the MOASS. Validation that has remained strong enough to hold every single share to this day.

There are too many awesome memories from the past year to pick just one, but I still get a kick out of the Roaring Kitty tweet that featured a monkey running up to a kitten and giving it a hug. This whole year has been a blast, and I’ve learned so much about the way our markets work.

My favorite memory was when me and a coworker were COVID cleaning the lunchroom and saw on the news and instantly started talking about how bullshit it was/is.

I remember entering around $58 ready for the big squeeze. It went up to $67-$75, the party was just getting started. Wasnt much longer, we started blasting off and running. Then we were running in the hundred to $300s. Then wake up the following day and low an behold no buy button. That was for a few brokers, we got screwed and the selling began after reaching the up $400s. PCO what is this BS...seems the little guy always has to get the short stick. Hope we can make changes so our kids dont have to deal with this corruption. This is not what America and the people who fought for this country wanted. Betrayal of its own citizens to buffer and safeguard the 1%, for their own failures and corruption.
