I remember on June 2nd and watching Treys live feed during our major run up to 72. The energy amongst Apes was electric! I've never forgotten that moment and how it felt to know we were a part of something special. That feeling has not left. #ApesNotLeaving

I think the whole era of Atobitt and Dr. T front and center was it for me. It felt like we were organizing, leaning, evolving. The community is different now, torches were passed, and now I’m so in doubt about our system I dont even bother to keep up anymore. Just HODL.

A favourite memory that sticks out was when DFV answered that he’s, he believed it was a good price point during the hearing and the price rising in that moment.

Joining a community of millions overnight a year ago, to see everyone stick together, fight for what’s right, and hold just as strong till this day.

My favourite memory was watching GME price increase simultaneously as DFV was speaking to the finance committee

Gaining more knowledge about the market I ever thought possible

I simultaneously can’t believe nobody went to jail for this and absolutely knew the system would fail retail investors. It isn’t our system, so it must go. Everyone deserves to have the same chance in the markets and we must never give up until they do.

Shills, Shills everywhere. They may be annoying but I see them more as the Arnie Grape of the family.

Today was the day they removed the buy button and made me an ape. I’m in this battle to be apart of the change and to get rid of the greed of politicians, hedge funds and the 1%

When I finally learned APE stands for All People Equal.

Struggling through the pandemic and trying to make financials for my family a little easier I turned to the markets in the hope of alleviating some of that financial pressure. I came across DFV at first and then this massive community of like minded retail traders and have never looked back. Being in Canada I never had to deal with the issue personally of the buy button being removed but I think we can all agree fighting for fairer and more transparent market structures is obvious. Now a year later, since that event, I have come out stronger and more wise in how the markets work and have been able to secure a more stable financial future for my family. A big shout out to Dave Lauer and the team around him for breaking away from the mainstream and fighting for what’s right.

I don‘t think I have a favorite memory per se.. but I would like to applaud to everyone who stands his ground in this ridiculously unfair fight against Wall Street. It is time for us to insist on general market transparency. High Frequency trading had its time. Now the apes are here to stay and boy.. no matter how fast your algos run. You cannout outplay intelligence.

My favorite memory was seeing DFV exercising his options after I bought GameStop at the top. That was the ultimate motivation for me and I've holded my shares ever since.

MSM day to day started setting time aside on popular business tv channels and internet to blame us retail. They do it to this day.. I am guessing we are doing sonething right.

The removal of the buy button was what first madr me curious about what was happening in the markets. Since then, my eyes have been opened to the corruption at all levels of government and regulation. I own and believe in GME as a long term stock, squeeze or not. Retail was given an uneven playing field and are still progressing up the hill, and while I was not part of the buy button criminality, I am proud to support the 99% in our fight for equality and fairness in an actual free market place.

My favorite memory of the buy button being taken away was the diamond hands it left me with and the ability to buy down my average afterwards, but the real gems are the friends we made along the way.

When total strangers band together for the common good to oppose what some thought was an un- opposable force, that has led to a movement that cannot be stopped. I bought my shares on the 27th and wanted to get more on the 28th only to find out we had been cockblocked! We will never forget all the work put in over the last year. Viva la Ape!

June 8th something happened to delay the inevitable.

When I DRS’ed my GME shares for the first time and received such a warm welcome at GMEJungle!

Upon my very first action with our supposed free-market I was met with a cancellation of my buy order. I felt cheated and unwelcome in what has been the salvation for others, especially the wealthy in this country. Luckily there were others who experienced the same and since then we have all expanded our knowledge and invested our money as we saw fit over the year.

I like the stock

The whole situation was the reason I started to dig deeper and started to invest in GME. What I learned the past year is pretty fascinating and changed the view on the stock and crypto market completely

My favorite memory was learning about the developing GME market issue with RH - and the comforting knowledge that I was already a XXX ape!!!

Superstonk and all of the epic AMAs, the excitement of last year, the unreal DD that opened my eyes, the brother/sisterhood created through this process.

It's actually crazy, that the whole journey is already having the first year's anniversary. I appreciate all the clever boyz and gurlz providing such a good Due Diligence (DD) over the whole time. I learned so damn much about the whole market, the market structure, options, derivatives and all those different options and option chains. It is a huge and very questionable market, which needs more Transparency. Thanks a lot for fighting for better and more transparent markets. Thanks for all those wrinkles.

My thing that I feel blessed about is the manipulation and thievery that went on Jan 28th and the removal of the buy button. We came together from all over the world and stood up against evil corruption that has plaqued us since the beginning. We are the change.

BUY AND HOLD

Just a year ago, I was a fairly new amateur investor, like many others here, using the trading app, Robinhood. I'll admit that I watched GameStop from the 20s rise into the hundreds, yet to purchase a single share yet. "This is incredible" I thought, I have never seen anything like it in my short time I have spent looking into the markets. The price kept rising, so I thought, why not? A day after I purchased my first couple shares, they turned the buy button off. I was decimated. People can only sell? What kind of cheap one way bullcrap is that? I saw the value of my portfolio diminish, and I felt absolutely powerless. Nevertheless, I hold today and so forth to spite those who conspired to block trading and defame many companies through manipulation and lies.

Watching the congress hearings into why the events of January happened and seeing DFV stand his ground against the corruption in the markets. That’s what led me to being apart of this movement.
