Turning off the buy button created so much anger and frustration and instead of giving up we fueled it into a journey for knowledge. Reading the DD leading up to the big spike, buying several shares at $350 and then watching it crash down over the next few days. I continued to read posts not to sell, that this was not over yet. The sentiment was so strong I could feel it from the simple words typed in the threads; I felt it. I can’t remember the last time I believed in something so strongly that it I would still be holding a year later. Soon.. we will all prevail, together. I still feel it.

My favorite memories are waking up during premarket, opening up my favorite subreddit and finding a well put together hype video. Especially the ones the educate at the same time!

I bought 10 GME on Jan 26, after a friend recommended it to me. I was ecstatic on Jan 27 as it started to rocket. I was devastated on Jan 28 when they turned off the buy button. I've continued to buy shares since then and I'm now well over 3xx. I don't think they understand our level of dedication.

The fact that this congressional hearing happened at all. If this is just a normal market event, why bring and grill a regular successful investor in front of congress? When you are truthful and honest and right, it shines through when compared to those who lie or obfuscate the truth.

At the time we were all aiming for the 1000$ sell ± so when buy button got closed this was my first time seeing a price drop so quickly for no good reason

It was one year ago when I've learned how financial freedom feels like. It was great, so I never left. I'm never leaving. I like the stock.

I bought in very high trying to ride the rocket to the moon at 400+ per share. I was about to buy more butt the broker I was using was had server issues at the same time buy button was turned off at other brokerages. I felt so much FOMO and disappointment when I saw I climb higher then it dipped down to 40 and I bought some more.

My favorite memory was watching My brother eat a banana on live TV to poke at MSM as I called the media pathetic for their portrayal of the Apes. Good times.

My favorite memory is how much Ken Griffin has aged in the past year. It's incredible how much stress changes people's appearance.

My first foray into buying stocks was GME on Jan 19, 2021. That day of buying, seeing a small dip, selling, funding my account again and re-buying all around $40 was the beginning of a much longer journey than I expected. Cheers to everyone who started out an opportunist and turned into a revolutionary wanting systemic change.

Learning about the market from amazing guests and DD writers in a way that I probably never would have on my own. Now I’m even supporting a company trying to positively change the game for who can access information, it’s been a wild year.

That time when we watched the stock go to $483 and back to $90 in 1 year. Happy anniversary GME! It’s my wedding anniversary also.

There are many inspiring moments from many great DD authors and legendary meme lords in the GME saga, but one the most memorable moments for me was when Superstonk Mod StonkU2 announced his departure from the mod team to pursue a project that would help the people fight the corruption that has taken over our markets. His announcement that shared his identity and goals will forever have a place in my heart. I'm very much looking forward to what Alex has to bring to the movement in the coming years.

A few days into trading i started my GME adventure, I witness the buy button be removed, didn’t know what was happening ended up spending months learning and reading migrating through Reddit figuring out how corrupt the whole stock market is. I Hodl now to achieve freedom for my family from this messed up system, I aim to use gains to help others and plant as many trees as I can.

Telling my friends about the financial manipulation of our markets over the course of the past year. Of course, I was met with healthy skepticism and questions to ask, and inevitably the community would answer. It was fascinating to see the exact concerns they had and the multitude of helpful folks responding to their exact questions. It felt like we were all learning together, building off of prior DD & "glitches" in a haphazard crash course on financial crimes.

The day the buy button was turned off, I was in office with my colleagues and we all started at the ticker all day. Not a single bit of work was done that day. We still talk about stocks to this day amongst our group.
