The uproar and clear abuse of the system on the day the buy button was taken away is what got me into the market. Now I’m an AMC shareholder and I’m here for market reform! They inadvertently created many more apes because of their corruption!

My favorite memory is that I bought the peak and was okay watch all my money invest decline so fast, and I didn’t freak out.

As a swedish investor in US stock market, I must say Im shocked by the way the market is handled. Specially the news outlets. Ive been following so many newspapers and informers last couple of years. Motleyfool, wsj, marketwatch etc. The last year has made me realize its all been fugazi. Fake news, or bought marketing news. Will never invest in US markets after AMC/GME squeeze.

The anger from being cheated that day strengthened my resolve that my investment is not only special, but worth buying more of and holding. Zen ever since. Diamond hands were forged that day.

Thanks to the corrupt parties involved that shut off the buy button I was able to spend an entire year buying GME! 🚀

My ability to see the truth through all of the bullshit. Talk about a life lesson.

My favorite memory is copying DFV's 4/16 call and exercising that so that I could have so many more GME at a discount. Long live the king of memes!

Seeing Ken Griffin (who allegedly lied under oath) and DFV in the same hearing, that has to be my favorite memory.

Taking away the buy button was the start of my journey as an ape! Proud of the communities and the projects that only happen because of us!

When Keith Gill testified before Congress. A smug suit tried to roast him, asking Gill whether he would buy GME at that price point (~40's range). Gill found it to be "an attractive investment at that price point", derailing the narrative the Suit had crafted. That night, Gill shared his GME YOLO Update, showing him quadrupling down. Absolute god among men.

I had bought a couple of days before some AMC shares, I was hoping for a rebound once people went back to the movies, got completely surprised with the Short Squeeze, made 10x return in a couple of days, still holding some of them.

My cousin buying me a gift a share from computer share for my birthday and framing the share, that's for the infinity pool.

I was cooking dinner for my family while GME was going nuts in AH. My wife who knew very little about the market didn't even flinch and she said that everything I had put in was extra anyways. She was completely on board with 💎🤲 mentality. I've been holding for over a year, even when I was up 1000% at one point. I've learned more about economics and the financial systems this year than most people get in 4 at a university. Live this community!

My favorite memory is when retail trader’s chatter on twitter finally made a big enough impact that members of Congress and the U.S. government could no longer ignore how corrupt the system is, and started discussion around unusual whales report on TV.

Explaining the truth behind the movement to my friend Kevin and having him say "I'm in"!

There have been some interesting moments no doubt but watching the threads on battle days (i.e. $8.01) despite their significance or not... the emotion that it elicited (just in the thread) across the community was inspiring. The sharing of knowledge the access to resources, has driven me this past year and will motivate me far into the future!

My favorite memory is seeing myself educating on unknown territories, reading and re-reading tons of posts and links and public info, sometimes with a smile on my face, sometimes with an ugly grin. I was answering my questions over the years (why a company was forced to close the stores and cease business on my country?) and being amazed and terrified at the same time because I was walking “the stock markets’ road” for the first time. But the fear disappeared instantly… because I knew I wasn’t alone on that road. To The Moon

Knowing the rest of the world is waking up to how corrupt the US financial system really is.

Connecting with my dad over the events in the market this past year; we don’t have a lot in common, but we have talked endlessly about the crazy shit that has been going on behind the scenes.

When I first invested in GME I had no clue what I would be in for. Riding that wave up, and then being hit with the buy button removal opened my eyes to the complete lack of fairness and transparency in our markets. After seeing all of the amazing people contribute their time and effort into sharing research and teaching others out of the kindness of their heart I decided to start streaming and recording every single second of every trading day on GME in-case we needed to look back at any events. Little did I know it would turn into a fully fledged community of others teaching, learning, having fun, and making friends/a place to feel connected with others. This whole movement has become something so amazing to witness and be a part of. Putting together a daily morning hype show has been so much fun and has changed my life for the better. I've been able to meet so many smart, funny, creative, genuine, and kind individuals. I can't pinpoint one favourite memory. It happens every single day seeing the incredible contributions of DD, Art, Memes, creativity, and kindness to each other. Thank you to all of you apes out there for standing up for what is right. We can make a real change and build a better future, brick by brick. 🦍💜🦍

My favorite memory is buying a stock because it was an amazing value and making almost a million friends along the way while I discover that my purchase was a virtual soldier in a nigh-unwinnable war vs all things wrong with the globe and the 0.1% of the population of ultra rich people... I'm not selling!

The GameStop hype leading up to 4/20/21 was party central. When that day came and went as a nothingburger, the hype didn't even take a hit. We hype on!

My favorite memory is hearing about GameStop on the news. It was like a fever dream where all of a sudden, this company was somehow making a “comeback” without having a plan. Watching the stock go higher until the restricted trading. That’s when I knew something was wrong. 1 year later, here I am…a proud investor with XX shares and definitely not alone in this. As an Optimist I've always believed in the ideals of true democracy and social justice. However, the Realist in me has known for a long time that the world is imperfect.
