I was watching a congressional hearing and was not just interested, but completely absorbed by what was going on. I was able to understand it AND able to call bullshit on things... and then suddenly I looked at myself and thought: "What kind of bizarro alternate reality am I in?"

My favorite memory is seeing how a group of people really took the time to educate themselves on the markets and expose all of this blatant corruption and crime. I don't know if anyone will ever go to prison (see 2008) but man they are literally hurting millions of Americans with their decisions on a daily basis.

Retail investors educating themselves, spreading information and positivity, and seeking financial freedom and justice in a time where it has never been needed more. 💎🤲 🚀🦧

My favorite memory(ies) is being excited for a hype day only to be disappointed; then seeing apes becoming more determined, uncovering more corruption and their hands being more diamond as time passed. We were evolving like collective Pokemon.

Dumb money they say. Change comes from perception of the majority, apes will show that together we can change the assintomatic corruption that grasps the minority of thr "smart" money. It is in us the strength to change the game, by removing the buy button they made me us holding because selling was never an option. Personal monetary gain will only be a collateral damage, the real richness will be the change on the system and eye opening event that will change the world.

When the buy button was stolen from retail.

The support of the entire Reddit Ape community has been unparalleled. It's amazing how we support each other and how we have embraced the power of a "hive mind" when it has a clear goal and purpose. The information that we have discovered and the knowledge we have gained in the last year has been nothing less than impressive, and truly game-changing. The past year has truly been a year marked by giving power back to the traders. There is still a long road ahead, but we trust the community, and more importantly, we trust the all-star leadership that has taken over Gamestop. The company has a bright future ahead and it's been a blast to be part of the experience. As our favorite cat would say, "Cheers, everybody!"

By far the best memory was watching us crash from over 400 down to 40, and within a month watching all msm lose their shit when we went back to the 100s-200s. I was grinning like a madman that whole day.

The following post on r/GME by u/broccaaa : "the naked shorting scam revealed.. " This post really opened my eyes and got me hellbent on supporting GME, the various subreddits and led me ultimately to Urvin Finance.

After a very rough year that included the loss of my father and other family members, I remember reading on Twitter about GME, and deciding to make a “quick buck” by making my first investment in a stock, ever. It was *wild* seeing my investment triple in a matter of minutes, only to lose it all later thanks to brokers turning off the Buy button, and being margin called - I had no idea the difference between a “margin” account vs a “cash” account. I am now fighting for revolutionizing for fairness in financial markets, and I truly believe in the transformation of the company.

Very happy to be a part of the Ape Community - and time for the Rising of the Players. HODL!

Might be weird but my favorite memory is Robin Hood and others kicking the can further down the road. Sounds weird but I wouldn't have learned everything that I've learned so far and this whole period of me using my money to liberate myself have thought me to be zen. I don't think any book or ideology could've given me this experience. I'm just grateful for this and I've had so much fun watching memes and learning how shit really works.

My favorite memory is definitely not my bf’s favorite memory. Lol I have accts with Fidelity & E*Trade. Against my advice, (he took his son’s advice instead) he opened a Robinhood acct. Well we all know how that turned out! It was a great “I told you so” moment. He has since switched to Fidelity & E*Trade 😊 We joined the APES in Jan 2021 and are both still holding every single share. Diamond hands until MOASS!!

Honestly I find it hard to find any joy in the horrible criminal act that has taken place on that day when they shut off the buy button to prevent their casino from falling into pieces. But if I had to pick one, it's this one for sure.

Switching jobs from FAANG to a brand new brokerage. I learned more last year about finance, psychology and how those two relate to each other than my entire life. There's hope after the big players
