Waking up everyday and checking GME prices to see when I’ll never have to work again. Got laid off, and struggled day in and day out. But never gave up hope!

Jan 26th, I hear a little something about GME. After a few minutes of internet searching I stumble across DFV's thesis, and it makes total perfect sense to me. I call the smartest friend I know and as soon as I say the word "GameStop"; his immediate answer is, "Diamond hands mf'er, you better not sell! What color lambo you want?!" Jan 27th, I join reddit and liquidate everything in the green in my RH account and throw it all into GME, all in the same day. (That sentence is full of peak retardation) Jan 28th, once they turned off the buy button I became a diamond hand soldier, an economic guerilla trader; and I was officially a member of the resistance on Vichy Wall St.

A fun memory was watching how the GME stock brought so many people together. The research and DD from so many Apes was amazing. The community standing strong against the odds. It was such an amazing feeling and still is to be a part of such a community.

I joined Reddit because of GME. (Today is my cake day). A couple of days later I posted my first comment and the best thing about it is my feelings are 100% the same today, 1 year later: "I hopped in late beacuse FOMO some serious cash. Now I'm staying because this is exciting and fun af! Worst that can happen is that I own a part of a company 🤷‍♂️. It's all just numbers. This is hell of a ride and I'm staying until the end ❤ (and buying on the dips 💎)" Ps. Ok, I admit. The DFV quadruple post gave me the real goosepumps, but I think it has been oosted here already 😄

Recently, when it dipped to $130 range I bought a ton and that day after hours it absolutely ripped thanks to the WSJ article about the NFT division. Gorgeous dip then rip.

I can't even say what my favorit memory is. There were so many beautiful moments. People discussing, helping each other. Fighting for their rights and trying to make the world a better place. I am sure that I will never forget the wonderful Apes, smoothbrained or wrinkelbrained.

I remember watching the ticker on a particular day in March 2021, going to have a quick shower, and coming back to my computer to see the price had dropped over 60% in the time I was away. On no news, naturally.

I never shared this with r/superstonk, I think I owe everyone an apology. The picture was taken the night of January 22nd, after GME’s share price gapped from $42.59 to an intraday high of $76.76. I like to imagine executives at the exposed funds saw my limit order, leaving them no choice but to shut off the buy button. My floor was 8 figures from the beginning. 🚀

On February 18th, DeepFuckingValue testified in front of congress. When asked by Rep. Bill Huizenga whether he would still buy shares at the current price of roughly $45, Gill said he still sees shares as "an attractive investment" despite trading at still-elevated levels. "Investing can be risky, and my particular approach to investing is rather aggressive and may not be suitable for anyone else. For me personally? Yes," he said, affirming he would still buy shares. AND THEN HE DID!

Ever since the start of the whole ordeal with GME, I've loved all the apes and apettes coming together for peer review, dd, and even just being nice to each other. Seeing a community grow and watching as more and more monkeys come invest in something they believe in with passion and respect will always hold a place in my heart. I also love the guy the stuck a banana in his tailpipe (not the Eddie Murphy kind.)
